Trustee Election 2026
Trustee Election Results 2026
Ontario elected its school board trustees on 26 October 2026. There is no province-wide results page: each municipal clerk posts the count for its own part of each trustee area. This page brings the counts together for all 72 district school boards: who was elected in every trustee area, the votes each candidate received, which seats were filled by acclamation, the closest races, and which areas were not fully counted within 24 hours of the polls closing. Choose a board to see every area and candidate.
The counts are copied as each clerk published them. Most are unofficial election-night counts; where a clerk posted an official certificate, that is used. Where an area was decided on partial counts or a clerk’s page left a question open, a note says so.
The 2026 candidates are listed on our Ontario candidate list. What candidates reported raising and spending in 2022 is in Trustee Campaign Finances 2022.
